 Dr. Dichen Zhao is an epileptologist who attended medical school at the Harbin Medical University in the People's Republic of China.
Dr. Zhao served his neurology residency at the Medical College of Georgia and received his fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology and nephrology at the University of Arkansas; pharmacology at the University of British Columbia; finishing his clinical fellowship at the Louisiana University of Medical School.
Dr. Zhao served as a Neurologist at the Oconee Regional Medical Center in Milledgeville, GA and did his Neurophysiology Fellowship at the University of Florida before his current position as a Neurologist at the Georgia Neurosurgical Institute and an Assistant Professor at the Mercer University School of Medicine.
He participates in clinical trials, studying promising medications in the treatment of seizures.
