Arthur J. Ulm III, M.D.


 

Dr. Ulm grew up in Enterprise, AL. He attended college at Auburn University and graduated with honors from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1999. During Residency training at the University of Florida, Dr. Ulm received Fellowship training in Microsurgical Anatomy under the tutelage of Dr. Albert Rhoton. After completing Residency, he received additional Fellowship training in Vascular and Endosvascular Neurosurgery at Vanderbilt University.

Dr. Ulm's clinical interests include the treatment of brain vascular disease with traditional open surgery and endovascular techniques. Another area of focus is the treatment of complex spinal problems with minimally invasive techniques.

Research interests include the pathogenesis of Aneurysm Formation, intracranial Flow dynamics, clinical outcome measures after Aneurysm treatment and microsurgical anatomy.
