The Georgia Neurosurgical Institute are a group of surgical specialists in state-of-the-art procedures, technologies and treatments of neurological, spinal and cervical disorders, injuries and diseases including back pain and neck pain. Dr. Hyer will be presenting at the Annual 29th Southern Gerontological Meeting in Atlanta, GA Friday April 18th on "Geriatric Education of Health Professionals in Georgia." Beginning in June, Georgia Neurosurgical Institute will be partnering with CogMed and offering cognitive rehabilitation training. Cogmed Working Memory Training is a proven software-based program designed for sustainably improved attention.
- Dr. Sami Walid will be presenting "Prevalence Of Previously Unknown Impaired Glucose Tolerance Among Spine Surgery Patients" at the upcoming annual CNS meeting.
